Last week Alwin's presentation on the existence of God gave rise to many questions. i would like to throw it open for discussion to every one on this topic. How many of us believe in God or a super power or no such belief. Pls give reasons for ur belief. this discussion is purely academic not to hurt any religious sentiments. hope everyone will use rational arguments not emotional

alvin's presentation is controversial and it made us to feel that still god is there or not.but according to me god is a invisible thread who guides us throughout the life. i believe in all religion and my family consist of all -buddhist,hindu,christian.
hi according to me i believe in God we cannot reach him only by praying or doing all such activities and i would also like to say that the one who is helpful and kind to others can be compared to God.

GOD- a spirit,a supreme power who controls everything.I call the power as god and the atheist person like Vijay call it as a power only and not god.The way Alvin presented the existence of the power of spirit was excellent.The way we perceive the power is what religion basically, but the preachings are different.I believe in the power of holy spirit which is known as god.
The discussion started by Vivin is "who is your role model and why?". My role model is my dad .It is true. Even if he is not my dad i would have admired him, he had taught me how a professor should be, how to administer home,job,duty,relatives,friends,teachers,etc.

hi guys!! according to my self there is no god by word. but i am believe that something is control ourself to go smooth life. when we are pushed into the badluck, stresses that time some greatest power or sprit will overtake our problems. so there no word "God". but there is some kind of energy, will power, sprit, in our own body so that is the "God"

A supreme power which controls all living things in world is named as "GOD". There is only one power and only one god , people are divided into different forms of god through religion! the Hindus pray to a Shiva,the Muslims will pray to Allah and Christians will pray to jesus!!!! But all their prayers will be taken by a single god only, but their way of approach to god is different from each other ! thats the point!
so i accept there is existence of god. And the superstitious beliefs are raised by people and well maintained up to present scenario and we all hope they will maintain and carry on in future too.And there is no proof in superstitious belief which is noway linked to god!
According to me,the god exists in the heart of people and in this world too. the only way to feel him is through love , which more than worship to him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though I believe in GOD , when a debate comes abt d existence of GOD I always stand on 'no god' side, since my brother is an atheist and I'm always convinced with his arguments. Yet I believe in GOD & I think there HE (GOD) stands.

There are many miracles that have evidence and one thing which i remember is "Resurrection of Jesus Christ"

How could you say that belief of God lies in writing 'god' as 'God'. God doesn't expect people to write the word properly. It is surely another type of superstition were we have to write the word 'God' properly then only we have belief in god. Now i don't write it properly so you mean to say i don't have belief in god .I strongly believe in god. As a grammatical mistake i can correct but as a matter of belief i strongly disagree. It is a kind of Pseudo patriotism towards God.

coming to the IPL ....i think it was almost interesting because the players who played in opposite team in ODL can play within a single team.......this IPL gave oppourtunity to young players .....i think tat absolutely there is a money behind everything...anyway IPL reduces the importance of regular 50over match because of its (IPLS) short play duration....
BUT it creates a cordial relationship between the other country players.......
this is my opinion about IPL.......

Tou I'm less interested in cricket , I've some interest over IPL . Ya!! its interesting 2 c sachin in 1 team & Ganguly in one team , Harbajan in 1 team & 'Sreeshant in 1 team .... And d prob between sreeshanth and 'Bajji' also made it interesting.
I need 2 know tat it s really encouraging d upcoming youth cricket players??????

As vijay said there r also positives and negatives.
IPL is also a good opurtunity for young cricketer's.

this is elakkiya .i think blog is going really well .i too agree with vijay because he said every coin has two sides..even ipl has both plus and minus this point is really true .
i majority support to mumbai team because most of my favorites are there.(ipl)it is a very good oppurtunity for young players but it is there in their hands to use it.
now a days most of the youngters have good talents but we are not using it properly

According to you all god is force , god
can be experienced , god is a spirit .
But to me "GOD" is my father .
I agree with annie's suggestion that
there is negative force called "SATAN"
which opposes GOD and its ultimate aim is
to send us(WHO ARE SONS OF GOD) TO HELL.
So if we happen to do any bad deeds our FATHER WHO IS OUR GOD WILL BECOME SAD
AND THE SATAN WILL BE THE HAPPIEST GUY IN THE UNIVERSE.
So the ultimate aim of our god is to protect US from the evil (SATAN)
